Procession of Catholic Church in 2 Samuel 6:12-15

2 Samuel 6:12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.

2 Samuel 6:13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.

2 Samuel 6:14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

2 Samuel 6:15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

REFUTATION:

If we will use well our mind, we will realize immediately that the alibi that Catholicism quoted from the Bible is not followed the same way what we can read in the verse (SEE THE PIC BELOW)

Now did Catholicism follow her alibi? It is not the Ark of the Covenant that is going in procession.

If using of images is okay for the purpose of worshipping God, God should not be angry when the Israelites made a golden calf and use it during the Feast of the Lord. BUT INSTEAD God became angry.

Exodus 32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD.

Exodus 32:6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Exodus 32:7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

Exodus 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 32:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

Exodus 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

In the New Testament, Lord Jesus said to worship God in spirit (read John 4:24)

A spirit has no form. it means you will not use any visual aids to worship God. It means you will not face to a statue or picture while worshipping God.

Jesus said to worship the NAME OF GOD (read Matthew 6:9) and not the IMAGE.

In fact, St. John the Apostle said to KEEP themselves from idols (read 1 John 5:21)

It means that idols are not good for Christians.

The idols are things that people relied (or trust) which have human body parts but cannot see, hear, smell etc.

4 They have idols of silver and gold, made by human hands.
5 These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,
6 have ears but hear nothing, have noses but smell nothing.
7 They have hands but cannot feel, have feet but cannot walk, no sound comes from their throats.
8 Their makers will end up like them, and all who rely on them.

(FROM PSALMS CHAPTER 115 OF NEW JERUSALEM CATHOLIC BIBLE VERSION)

Today, Catholics rely on these idols while doing their worship to God.
